Since 1994, this back street studio/gallery is home for Howie
Rosenfeld’s etchings and scrimshaw of ships, whales & more. Works
by the late author/aviator, Ernest K. Gann. Custom picture framing.
Most reliably open 12-4 (plus or minus) or call for
appointment. Howie’s work is also available at Island Studios.

Friday Harbor Gallery is minutes from the ferry on First Street, off Spring directly next to Herb’s Tavern. Showcasing nature photography, jewelry & art glass from island artists, we have a wonderful selection of San Juan Island note cards & retro posters. The gallery has unique treasures, gifts, nautical collectibles & the largest vintage American Roadside postcard collection in Washington State. Stop in on your way to the Whale Museum.
